Kelly Alvarez Doran. Kelly is a father, architect, educator, and advocate. He leads MASS Design Group’s Performance & Provenance team and the Ha/f Research Studio at the University of Toronto. He works with architects and engineers to assess the social and environmental impact of buildings. Central to their work and research is an understanding that every design decision has significant upstream and downstream consequences. He’s working to unpack the choices we make in contemporary construction and to help identify ways that we can build buildings that help rather than hurt.
