The buzz around the Metaverse has reached a fever pitch. The vision of digital worlds where people can socialize, work, and much more holds great promise to tech companies like Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook) and gaming giant Roblox. It also represents a multi-trillion dollar market opportunity, according to Tim Sweeney, the CEO of “Fortnite”-creator Epic Games. Many entertainment companies find themselves at a crossroads: How will they embrace the Metaverse? What opportunities exist to leverage this virtual world that is already unfolding? How will they deal with challenges in this new digital ecosystem?

The virtual event will also update the state of the Metaverse, including announcements at the recent CES technology conference, the view from the tech giants, and what to look for in 2022.
