Since 2017, Camille has supported IMO’s work related to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from ships. Before joining IMO, he held operational management roles in the French Maritime Affairs Directorate, dealing with safety of navigation, search & rescue & prevention of pollution from ships.
Simon started his shipping career in the 90s, and has been a competitive ship sale and purchase broker ever since. He ran HSBC Shipping Services' Greek office before joining Ursa in 2013. Simon is a Fellow and regular lecturer for the ICS, and visiting lecturer to numerous Universities globally.
A Boston University graduate, Alex started in 2005 as a shipbroker at BRS in Paris and Singapore. He then moved to Noble Group’s grain division as a Freight Trader in Switzerland. Since 2013, Alex has been developing and managing the Ocean Freight department of Amaggi based in Lausanne.
Ioanna has a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Bath Uni and an MSc in Shipping Trade and Finance from City Uni. In 2003 she joined Dynacom Tankers Management. In 2010, after heading the S&P activities she formed Prominence Maritime S.A. and is also the CEO of Sea Traders S.A.
Christopher pioneered shipping research by focusing on the long-term implications of megatrends like digitalization and ageing global consumers on the shipping industry. Christopher holds a MA in economics from Copenhagen University but has studied in Switzerland, Singapore, UK, China and the US.
With 15 years in the marine industry holding development & P&L management positions in Italy, US, Japan, Singapore and Finland, Mauro's strengths lie in managing strategy formulation & building high-performing organisations. Mauro is currently exploring innovation in the future of Wärtsilä.
