About this event
In this session, we’ll look at both the theory and practice of becoming a capable and confident leader and coach. Managing a team can be challenging, and it doesn’t always come naturally to clinicians. However, with the right support and skills all vets and nurses can become proficient managers and coaches, helping your colleagues, mentees and direct reports to develop and fulfil their potential.
We will explore the bigger picture of process and people:
Then we’ll build on the theory to learn how you can give meaningful feedback – a key foundation of effective management and coaching. Using a range of simple models and tools, we will help you to structure sessions with your team effectively.
After this session you will have both practical skills and improved confidence, enabling you to become a better manager and coach.
