• A pupil receives a disciplinary warning from the school. The disgruntled parent exercises an SAR for any information on their child, including emails between the Headteacher and staff members involved in the disciplinary process
• A pupil is involved in an incident at school which requires medical attention. The parent undertakes an SAR to obtain the medical report from the nurse's department who treated their child
• A staff member is formally dismissed from a school and performs an SAR to obtain all personal data contained within their personnel files, emails between the Head & HR, and witness statements
