About this event
Delmic introduces the new series of webinars "Cathodoluminescence fundamentals" dedicated to the basics of cathodoluminescence (CL). Over the course of 2020 two cathodoluminescence specialists, Toon Coenen and Sangeetha Hari, will explain how cathodoluminescence imaging works.
Whether you are just learning about cathodoluminescence or are already familiar with CL, these webinars are a great way to stay updated about the most recent developments, research and possibilities of this technique. In previous webinars we have already covered various applications of CL in the fields such as nanophotonics, photovoltaics, geology and plasmonics. In this series, which will consist of 6 webinars, we are going back to basics and explaining:
These three topics will be covered in the first three sessions. The second half of the series will be dedicated to new directions for using CL imaging, including correlative cathodoluminescence light and electron microscopy.
Register for the first webinar, which will focus on cathodoluminescence processes. Sangeetha Hari will explain the difference between coherent and incoherent CL emission, how it can be identified and what each type of the emission can be used for.
This webinar will be particularly interesting for those who study and work with various materials and are looking for ways to study them faster and easier, but also for those who are interested in learning more about cathodoluminescence in general.
If you would like to register for the whole series, please fill in the form on our website. You will then receive an access link for each webinar session once it is available.
