About this event
This was a long time coming!
I'm so excited for you to join me for this 20-minute Slovak conversation class. This class is for ALL LEVELS. Even if you can't speak (or you can, but don't feel brave enough to do so), it's helpful to hear others talk and pick up on the context of the conversation.
We are going to have a lot of fun as we will do this in form of a ROLE PLAY.
Here's the agenda:
- First, each of us will introduce ourselves with one or two sentences.
- Once we assign roles to each other, we can begin practicing - we will focus both on the vocabulary and pronounciation. The more mistakes, the better - we are learning!
- Q&A - we will go over any questions that may arise during the conversations and clarify any misunderstandings.
Please note: This class is primarily in English so even if your knowledge of Slovak is very basic, you will be able join.

Hi! My name is Patricia and I have a small YouTube channel called "Sophisticated Slovak". I grew up in Bratislava, Slovakia but I spent almost 10 years living in the United States. I don't live in Slovakia as of now but I always like to stop by and eat a good plate of "halušky".
