    Roy is the CEO of Ballast Nedam International Projects, which is part of Ronesans Holding. The group comprises of 75,000 employees and is one of the largest construction companies in Europe. In addition to traditional construction activities, the group includes a dedicated investment team that specialises in project development (including financing) and public private partnerships. Before he joined Ballast Nedam, Roy was the Head of Advisory at WSP in London. He has also been a Director at Royal HaskoningDHV and he worked as the Managing Director for Royal HaskoningDHV’s Turkey office and was Vice Chairman of the Board of ELC Group Inc. His 20 years of professional experience includes commercial and technical support to large scale infrastructure projects and mergers and acquisitions across six continents.     Wim Dillen International Development Manager @ Port of Antwerp

    After learning the ropes of maritime forwarding at several renowned Antwerp Forwarding companies, Wim Dillen worked for close to 28 years in the non-ferrous metals industry, where he held several managerial functions and headed international supply chain teams up to 50 people. Wim Dillen saw a new challenge at the Antwerp Port Authority where he started in 2010 as Sr Business Development Manager, ensuring further growth & success of Port of Antwerp, by attracting new and safeguarding existing business. In 2015 he was put in charge of defining, developing and implementing Antwerp’s commercial vision and strategy, heading a team of 10 Business Development managers. Since 2018, he represents the Port in the world during economic missions, roadshows, events and he now coordinates a team of 15 international Port representatives and manages important international challenges & opportunities (Brexit, CETA, BRI, Trade wars, …).

    Matthew Watkins Principal Analyst @ CRU Group

    Matt Watkins is CRU’s European flat Steel analyst and the Editor of the Global Steel Trade Service and Steel Plate Market Outlook. In the early 2000s he spent five years at CRU, initially working across commodities in the Consulting team and subsequently joining the Steel team as an analyst. Following that he moved to Rio Tinto and worked there for over six years in a number of business development and marketing roles, focused primarily on products within the global iron and steel sector. After a period as a freelance metals and mining consultant he re-joined CRU in 2015. Matt holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Durham, and an MSc in Mineral Exploration from Imperial College, London.
