Professor Dr Markus Rodehutscord is an internationally recognised expert in the field of protein and mineral supply of farm animals. The focus of his scientific work is on phosphorus turnover and its influence in poultry and pigs, on amino acid and mineral metabolism of livestock and related aspects of feedstuff evaluation for different livestock. A special priority of his research group has been the process of inositolphosphate degradation in the digestive tract and the dietary factors influencing this degradation. He is a leading member of numerous national and international expert committees.
