IntelliCAD Technology Consortium invites you to their event

Build on IntelliCAD: Developer Platform Options for Every CAD Application

About this event

From add-ons to full products, IntelliCAD gives developers options for the kind of CAD application they want to build.

IntelliCAD is a mature, full-featured CAD engine that powers hundreds of commercial applications around the world. But when developers and software companies first look at building on IntelliCAD, the common question is the same: "Where do I actually start, and what's the right fit for my product?"

The answer depends on what you're trying to build.

If you already have an ObjectARX®-based product, you can port it to IntelliCAD using our IcARX API and reach a new audience with minimal engineering effort. If you're building a vertical CAD product for a specific industry, our IRX and native Teigha .NET® APIs give you the deepest integration with IntelliCAD, and most members on this path ship the product under their own brand. If you're a consultant or firm customizing IntelliCAD for your clients, our ObjectARX-compatible API and mature AutoLISP® support let you build tailored tools and automations without standing up a full product. And for smaller ISVs and vertical developers who want a commercial path to IntelliCAD at a more accessible entry point, the new Integrator tier (launching after IntelliCAD 15) opens that door.

In this 60-minute webinar, Jason Poitras walks through the developer options the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC) offers, from APIs and AutoLISP support to membership tiers to the new Integrator path. You'll hear how existing member companies have used IntelliCAD to build successful products and grow their businesses, and you'll get an early look at what's coming in IntelliCAD 15.

Whether you're evaluating CAD platforms for a new product, looking to port an existing add-on, or exploring the idea of launching your own CAD application, this session will help you find the right path.

What You'll Learn

  • What IntelliCAD is, who builds on it, and why it has become a serious alternative for CAD developers
  • The four main paths developers take with IntelliCAD: porting an ObjectARX product (IcARX), building a branded vertical CAD product (IRX or native Teigha .NET®), customizing and automating IntelliCAD for clients (ObjectARX through IcARX or AutoLISP®), and the new Integrator tier
  • How ITC membership tiers are structured, and how to match a tier to your application type
  • Case studies from existing members who have built successful products on IntelliCAD
  • What's coming in IntelliCAD 15 (July 2026) and a first look at the new Integrator tier
  • How to get started, including trial access, technical support, and the member resources available to you

Who Should Attend

  • Independent software vendors with an existing ObjectARX-based product who want to also target IntelliCAD users
  • Established CAD companies and ISVs building a branded vertical CAD product for a specific industry (AEC, surveying, engineering, MEP, manufacturing, GIS, and others)
  • Consultants, engineering firms, and in-house development teams building custom tools and automations for IntelliCAD users
  • Smaller ISVs and vertical developers looking for a commercial path to IntelliCAD at a more accessible entry point (the new Integrator tier)
  • Technical founders and product leaders evaluating CAD platforms for a new product
  • Developers curious about what the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium offers and how membership works
