About this event
Over the past 9 months, the BRC, PwC UK and The MBS Group have come together to examine the state of diversity and inclusion in the UK retail sector. Now, we are delighted to invite you to the launch of our report: Diversity and Inclusion in UK Retail: Where are we now and what comes next?
This flagship report provides a true reflection of the current state of diversity and inclusion in UK Retail, bringing together an analysis of diversity in senior leadership teams from The MBS Group; a look at the employee perspective from PwC; and a challenge to the industry from the BRC.
With the view to broaden the conversation around D&I, the report looks closely at a number of areas of diversity, including gender, race and ethnicity, LGBTQ+, disability, social mobility and age. By tracking progress on these areas, as well as highlighting examples of good practice, we hope this report will play a part in driving positive change in the sector.
As well as unveiling the research, the event will mark the launch of a series of pledges from the BRC. These pledges have been agreed by retailers across the sector, all of which are committed to prioritising diversity and inclusion as they emerge from Covid-19.
Responding to the latest research and plans to move the dial, BRC Chief Executive Helen Dickinson will chair an exciting panel of guests.
