The Madison Group invites you to their event

Synergy of Preventing Product Failure - Material Selection

About this event

This event is the first in our four part series on the prevention of product failure. This series focuses on preventing failure at each step in the product development process. This webinar will concentrate on minimizing product failures through effective material selection. Material selection is one of the fundamental aspects that will determine the success or failure of a product. With so many choices available today regarding plastic materials, it is imperative that anyone involved in product design understand resin properties and how they will affect end product performance as well as part design and manufacturability.

There is no perfect material; they all have inherent strengths and weaknesses. The key in successful material selection is appropriately balancing these attributes. The use of the wrong material can certainly render the product susceptible to premature failure.

In this event, two of The Madison Group’s experts, Jeffrey Jansen and Paul Gramann discuss the challenges in the area of material selection. The goal for this webinar is to convey the importance of material selection in avoiding product failure.
