About this event
The killing of George Floyd by a white law enforcement officer has reawakened a national and international outcry regarding a disregard for Black Lives.
Within the Church, this has sparked a number of responses from the United States Bishops, various local churches, and national Catholic organizations. However, there are many questions about the appropriate response of the Church outside that of statements in times of crisis. This conversation will explore the reality of racism in the Church and the necessary place of the Church in the fight against racism.
