Foundry Webinar: Become a Lighting Artist on Animated Films

About this event

If you aspire to break into the animation industry as a Lighting Artist, or you want to fine- tune your skills to advance your career, join The Academy of Animated Art and Foundry for advice on how to land your dream job.

Take part in a discussion with The Academy of Animated Art’s co-founders Jasmine Katatikarn and Michael Tanzillo and Foundry’s Katana team on the importance of not only learning technical skills, but developing your creative eye to produce powerful images. Together they will share insight on the importance of lighting in animation, how to stand out as an artist, and the resources available to learn how to become a better lighter.

The Academy of Animated Art will also be announcing a special lighting challenge during the webinar and two lucky attendees will have the chance to win The Academy of Animated Art’s Katana workshop, so be sure to attend live!
