Alex Semnont is Co-Head of the EMEA Fund and Asset Manager analytical team at Fitch Ratings in London. The team covers subscription finance, NAV finance, collateralized fund obligations (CFOs), and rated note feeders for secondaries funds. The group is responsible for assigning ratings, developing rating methodologies and models, and publishing research on analytical and regulatory developments affecting the sectors it covers. Alex joined Fitch in 2022 after holding banking roles in credit and debt capital markets.
Richard G. Wheelahan III is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Fund Finance Partners (FFP), an independent advisory firm exclusively dedicated to fund finance and debt capital markets. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, FFP advises alternative asset managers across all asset classes that are seeking financing from banks, insurance companies and other alternative capital providers, including subscription, asset-based and hybrid credit facilities, NAV loans and preferred equity infusions, rated and other structured fund products and GP and management company financings.
Romain has been working at Moody’s since 2024 with a focus on Fund Finance and Private Credit solutions. Prior to Moody’s Romain spent 10 years at Société Générale in London where he held various positions in the Financial Institutions Coverage and Fund Finance divisions. Romain holds a Master’s in Finance from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor’s degree from INSEEC.
Caroline Lee is a partner in Seward & Kissel’s Corporate Group. She has extensive experience crafting tailored financing solutions for investment funds with complex structures across a variety of asset classes. Caroline regularly advises financial sponsors, asset managers, insurance companies and financial institutions on a wide range of fund financing transactions designed to facilitate and support investment activities.
Michael advises on a wide variety of fund finance transactions. He is the initial recipient of the Annual Contribution to the Industry Award (Legal) granted by the Fund Finance Association and has been recognised by The Drawdown as one of the most influential fund finance experts globally.
