Yasmin Desai has an entrepreneurial mindset, she started a small company while studying at university. She has now worked for more than 6 years in start-ups with a specialization in product, commercial understanding & user problem-solving. She is an expert in helping grow team/product KPIs. She has worked on onboarding and conversion funnels for both web and mobile. 

Revolut was founded on 1 July 2015. The company was originally based in Level39, a financial technology incubator in Canary Wharf, London. The firm, which provides mobile app-based current accounts as an alternative to physical banks, has been referred to by some as a "tech super star". On 26 April 2018, Revolut announced that it had raised a further $250 million in a funding round led by Hong Kong-based DST Global, reaching a total valuation of $1.8 billion and thus becoming a unicorn.
