About this event
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the value of mobility insights driven by data science has come to the fore in planning and investment circles. Senior decision makers, planners, and strategists are watching as new consumer behaviour trends evolve. The pandemic has done away with old assumptions of how we live, move, and play, leading to an active rewriting of the rule book on mobility. This begs the question, will all companies within various regions and cities return to pre-crisis performance?
Fortunately, mobility is now observed in a far more granular level of detail than ever before using technologies that we all carry with us on a daily basis. This is helping us to unlock deeper insights into patterns of behaviour as they change in near-real time. Behavioural analysis can be used for a range of purposes, including urban/transport planning, deciding where to put a new retail store, and to help facilitate data driven investment decisions.
