For the past ten years, Carryn has worked closely with comms teams in several South African and African businesses to craft innovative internal communications solutions that really resonate with a company's most valuable assets: their employees. She leads a team of expert strategists, storytellers and designers, who specialise in devising and executing engaging, effective internal communications strategies for businesses from the retail and entertainment industries right through to the finance and FMCG sectors. She’s a firm believer in the power of internal communications to meaningfully connect people – to company purpose and to each other.

Atka has spent the better part of a decade immersed in the venture capital, financial services and content marketing sectors, understanding how best to connect with people through stories. She has a keen interest in trends research and foresight and closely follows the forces shaping the world of work. Atka leads a team of talented professionals creating award-winning digital internal communications content for South Africa’s most innovative financial services group. Her interests include emerging tech, wellbeing and sustainable future design.
