Delmic invites you to their event

Cryo-EM for Visualizing Neurodegenerative Diseases | Expert Learning Session

About this event

Join our webinar to discover recent exciting research on neurodegenerative diseases using cryo-EM! Two experts in the field will share their knowledge and talk about the latest research into the molecular pathology of these diseases. Additionally, you can connect with the community to discuss and share your ideas using our interactive format.

What to expect:

  • Learn about the latest research on neurodegenerative diseases
  • Gain insights from experts in the field
  • Ask questions and share your ideas

More information:

Neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer's disease, affect millions of people every year and significantly impact the lives of those affected and their families. Recent advancements in cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) have allowed researchers to shed light on protein aggregates, which are the common hallmark of neurodegenerative diseases. In this webinar, two experts in the field, Dr. Yang Yang (MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology) and Prof. Dr. Rubén Fernández-Busnadiego (University Medical Center Göttingen) will discuss some exciting discoveries and unprecedented insights into these protein aggregates that have been gained through cryo-EM.
