Tracker systems combined with artificial intelligence technologies offer solar plant owners and operators powerful new tools for maximising the performance of their projects. This webinar will explore the ways AI-enabled smart trackers are being utilised in utility-scale solar plant operations and the numerous benefits they bring to project developers and asset owners.
Gonzalo Baselga, Head of Tracker Business EU, will share how TrinaTracker offers solutions from product to service level, to provide exclusive support to clients during project installation and operation periods.
Sun Kai, Head of Smart Tracker Control System at TrinaTracker, will share the new upgraded SuperTrack2.0 smart tracking technology. SuperTrack2.0 will not only increase solar power production through advanced algorithms but also further optimise solar plant earnings by boosting power production in the early morning and late afternoon hours, particularly in markets with dynamic electricity pricing mechanisms.
Sun Kai will also introduce the brand-new AI-powered tracker-level SCADA, which enables pre-diagnosis of electrical component issues through remote control.
Manuel Llenas Arbo, Regional Manager for Europe at GreenPowerMonitor, will share his experience on how AI technology can benefit the solar power assets.

Dr. Sun Kai received Ph.D. from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016, and then he moved to State Key Laboratory of PV Science and Technology as a postdoc. Currently Sun Kai is one of the key technical staff in Trinasolar, and he focuses on the research of PV system performance and smart tracking technologies.

Since 2007, he has built a solid career in the tracker and fixed structures sector, gaining extensive leadership and management experience. He spent nearly 7 years at Soltec, holding the positions of Chief Sales Officer and US Country Manager at their California offices. Later, he joined Gonvarri Solar Steel, where he worked for almost 10 years, serving in recent years as Chief Business Development & Strategy Officer. He is currently the Head of Tracker Business for the EU at TrinaTracker, a business unit of Trinasolar.
