Sean Hale, Sean Hale Consulting

Sarah Loghin, Forvis

Sarah joined the NonProfit Advisory Services team in 2019 with an extensive background in the not-for-profit industry. Her career experience includes serving in various accounting and finance roles in institutions of higher education and religious organizations. Sarah also has additional experience providing audit services for a variety of not-for-profit entities. Sarah is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Institute of Management Accountants, Inc. (IMA), and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Inc. (ACFE®). She holds the Certified Management Accountant® (CMA®) certification from IMA and the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential from ACFE.

Rick Dahlseid, PBO Advisory

A Certified Public Accountant with a Masters’ Degree in Taxation, Rick is a financial expert by trade. His lead-servant perspective and warm personality give him an advantage in perfecting corporate vision and ensuring organizational efficiencies. As a member of the Executive Management Team and a CFO for PBO Advisory Group, Rick enjoys sharing his ideation strength to plan and introduce operational and cost control initiatives, ultimately driving greater social awareness and mission impact. Rick has served as a leader, mentor, trusted advisor, and proponent of positive and productive organizational change. Rick also has unique expertise in the nonprofit sector, having served in the Chief Financial Officer position for the past 17 years in the areas of healthcare, museums, human services, environmental, children’s initiatives, and affordable housing. Rick is also an instructor with The Nonprofit Institute at the University of San Diego.

Tristan Pierce, Advisors for Change

After living the nonprofit-insider dream for almost a decade, Tristan joined Advisors for Change in 2016 with the goal of building financial confidence, capacity, and engagement at the individual, team, and organizational levels. Tristan approaches nonprofit leaders with the appreciation that the mission is demanding and effects positive change in ways that cannot be measured by a financial bottom line. With that in mind, he helps leaders focus on financial management as a core function to achieve and increase impact. Tristan holds an MA in Arts Management from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. When not in front of a spreadsheet, you may find him in front of a piano or running, biking, and swimming throughout Austin.
