ORIS invites you to their event

Autodesk x ORIS: Get Carbon Insights in your BIM Workflows

About this event

In 2026, civil engineers shouldn't spin multiple Excel files just to have the carbon footprint of their designs.

And BIM, as good as it is, hasn't solved this problem: what if you work all day in Civil 3D or Revit?

Get on this exclusive plugin release session with the Autodesk teams and us as we unveil our new plugin that:

  • Let any civil engineer or sustainability manager optimise for carbon... directly from their Autodesk workflow
  • Updates dynamically the carbon results as you design and iterate
  • Let you choose between precision (supplier-based) or speed (manual distance) for the transportation estimate

๐Ÿ‘€ Why attend?

  1. Learn how to generate certified carbon reports without leaving your Autodesk workflow
  2. Discover how to compare low-carbon material alternatives directly inside your existing workflow with the carbon heatmap
  3. Get the insights and best practices directly from Autodesk and ORIS' experts

๐Ÿ†• About the new plugin

  • Support for all objects in models, not just 3D solids and hatches
  • Support for Civil 3D quantity takeoff, eliminating the need to generate 3D solids
  • Dynamic updating of the bill of quantities based on changes to the model
  • AI Mapping from Autodesk to ORIS material databases

๐Ÿงพ About this session

Civil engineers are spending too much time on carbon calculations that shouldn't require them to leave their design tools. Spreadsheets, manual exports, rework... it adds up.

In this live session, the ORIS and Autodesk teams will walk through the new version of the ORIS plugin for Autodesk products, showing how infrastructure carbon assessment can run natively inside your Autodesk workflow, from Bill of Quantities extraction to scenario comparison and compliance-ready reporting.

No prior ORIS experience needed. Whether you're already using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or Revit daily, or evaluating how to integrate sustainability earlier in your design process, this session is for you.
