A Candid Look into EB-2 NIWs and RFEs from a Former USCIS Officer

Thursday, February 13th 2025 - 5:00 PM (GMT) -

The event is over. See you in the next one.

About this event

Join us on February 13 at 12 PM EST for a fascinating and informative discussion with a former USCIS officer!

A Candid Look into EB-2 NIWs and RFEs from a Former USCIS Officer will take you behind the scenes of how immigration visa applications are processed from the perspective of the USCIS officers who handle them.

During the webinar, we will include an overview of the EB-2 NIW visa along with a discussion of Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and how to respond to them in the best way possible.

Our special guest will be Mandy Nease, a former USCIS officer turned immigration attorney. She will bring her unique insights and experience in the field to answer questions like:

  • How are USCIS officers trained to evaluate the “substantial merit” and “national importance” in EB-2 NIW cases?
  • Who are the Subject Matter Experts at USCIS and what is their background?
  • What is the review process of an EB-2 NIW petition for a USCIS officer?
  • What key documents does a USCIS officer want to see in an EB-2 NIW petition?
  • Do officers really read the entire application file? The business plan? How important is the business plan in the EB2 NIW application?
  • What are the most common reasons USCIS issues RFEs or denials in EB-2 NIW cases?
  • And much more!

On top of getting inside information from a former USCIS officer, you'll also earn 1 CLE credit from the Florida Bar Association for attending.

Don’t miss this chance to get an insider’s view of the process behind working with EB-2 NIW clients – sign up now and join us on February 13!
