Reg360 APRA reporting demonstration- ADI's

About this event

On March 31, 2022, for the Australian ADI industry, APRA has laid out a plan to introduce a Comprehensive Data Collection over a 5-year time horizon, replacing the returns and forms-based approach which has dominated the regulatory reporting landscape in Australia since APRA's inception in 1998, to a set of granular tables in a predefined data model structure, collecting granular information on bank's key portfolio's such as lending, investments, deposits and funding products. The move to richer, more detailed data collections will coincide with a transition away from APRA’s D2A data collection system to the new APRA Connect portal.

With more change on the horizon, the end of best-endeavours reporting, heightened expectations for data quality, governance and controls and audit requirements; now is the right time to implement a fit for purpose technology solution to deliver sustainable, scalable and efficient reporting.

In this demonstration, we will provide an overview of the Reg360 platform. Reg360 delivers a central system-of-record for enterprise reporting. It includes out-of-the-box reports for all APRA returns including all APRA-specific validation rules and electronic submission formats for both D2A and APRA Connect. Reg360 reporting hub enables team collaboration, data and report lifecycle management, integrated lineage and controls, traceability for regulatory reporting and enterprise analytics. Designed, built and supported in Australia, by APRA experts, Reg360 has become the platform of choice for all entities involved in the APRA reporting process in banking, superannuation and insurance.

Demonstration areas of focus:

> How to efficiently orchestrate the data and reports coming from various sources, such as finance, custodian, administrator, trustee, insurer

> How central version management, controlled adjustments, on-screen validations, variance analysis and drill-down removes friction across the report preparation and review process

> Row level validation - delivering fully validated APRA Connect forms in minutes

> Integrated Review, Sign-off, Attestation

> Auditability & Controls
