Concussions donât just affect the brainâthey often disrupt the way the eyes work together. Many patients continue to struggle with dizziness, headaches, and balance issues long after their injury, despite ânormalâ test results.
In this special Veterans Day webinar, a physiatrist and an optometrist share how they collaborate to identify and treat post-concussion patients with Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD). Youâll learn how to think like both a physiatrist and an optometrist, and how to approach concussion patients through a broader medical lens that connects brain, body, and vision.
Hear how microprism lenses can bring immediate relief and review real patient cases and gain practical insights for integrating concussion-related visual care into your practice. The session concludes with a moving story of a guest veteran whose life was transformed through treatment.
