About this event
With the move away from the use of gas fired CHP in Heat Networks across the UK as the grid decarbonises, this Event created in collaboration between the UKDEA and BEIS will focus on the use of waste heat in heat networks. Both organisations see waste heat playing a major role in achieving the target of delivering 18% of heat from heat networks by 2050.
This event will provide an introduction to the wide variety of sources, issues associated with using them as well as a series of case studies many of which have never been presented before, and industry views. It is aimed at all organisations involved with the development of heat networks in the UK who want to find out more about these various sources of energy and is free to attend.
