Our Speaker

James Brown is Head of Commercial for Comtec Translations. James began his career in the languages industry in 2012, after completing a degree in French and German Studies at the University of Warwick.

After several years working as both a project manager and account manager he took on the role of Head of Operations, which involved managing, supporting and mentoring Comtec’s project management team and overseeing quality assurance and staff learning and development. James now works as Comtec’s Head of Commercial, focussing on implementing Comtec’s business development strategy and participating as a member of our Senior Leadership team, advising on team culture, service development, diversity and inclusion, quality assurance and recruitment.

James is a member of the Content Marketing Association (CMA), participating a member of their D&I Leadership Council. James’ interests outside work include history, swimming, cinema, creative writing and rugby.

Rob is the Managing Director and heads up the Content Marketing Association, tasked with ensuring the content marketing industry continues to thrive, both in the UK and overseas. By working closely with publishers, agencies, and in-house content creators, Rob and the team at the CMA are able to continuously educate those in the industry, whilst engaging and growing the wider content community.
