About this event
Your carrier choice has an emissions cost you are not seeing.
Most organizations negotiate their contracts with carriers based on rate, reliability, and capacity. Very few are negotiating, taking into consideration actual emissions performance. Our "Decoding Maritime Emissions, Q4 2025:Efficiency Peaks as Intensity Hits Yearly Low" report's data shows why this gap will cost you.
Across major fronthaul trades, carriers operating on identical routes delivered emissions intensities that varied by 10% to 58% in Q4 2025. Those differences are not driven by the routes. They are driven by actual vessel deployment (distance & speed), actual utilization factors, and time in port. Variables that industry emissions averages and carrier-reported aggregates flatten into a single number.
From 2026, EU ETS compliance is at 100%. The IMO Net-Zero Framework is back on the table for October. Your Scope 3 reporting obligations are not going away. But beyond compliance, the real value of knowing how your carriers actually perform is the decision it enables: which carrier do you select for which lane, and on what basis.
This webinar presents the Q4 2025 findings from 79,438 voyages and 5,816 vessels, with a specific focus on what carrier-level, route-level, and vessel-level data reveal about operational performance that aggregate metrics do not.
