Dr. Lim & Prof. Giannaccare | LM™ LLLT: Innovative Light Therapy in Ophthalmology: Enhancing Patient Outcomes

Dr. Chris Lim (MD) and Prof. Giuseppe Giannaccare (MD, PhD) share their experience and research on Light Modulation™ LLLT (PBM) technology, OPE™ IPL and eye-light®.

In the keynote, which took place at APAO 2024,

• Dr. Lim will discuss photobiomodulation’s mechanism of action, its applications in ocular surface and interesting clinical cases where PBM was successfully used, also in pediatric patients.
• Prof. Giannaccare will share his journey with Low-level Light Therapy (LLLT), explaining the powerful combination of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and LLLT, different results of the two technologies when compared and interesting application of LLLT, such as “at Home” and in DED Prophylaxis with patients undergoing cataract surgery.
