  Brigadier General Patrick PERROT, a Gendarmerie officer with a PhD in Artificial Intelligence (AI), has combined operational command roles with scientific endeavors in the fight against crime. He has authored various publications in the fields of artificial intelligence, forensic sciences, and intelligence. He has been instrumental in numerous AI developments for security purposes, such as speaker recognition, facial recognition, and decision analysis, and also teaches at several universities. He is an associate researcher within the Chair of Law, Accountability, and Social Trust in AI, led by Professor Céline CASTETS-RENARD at ANITI (Artificial and Natural Intelligence Toulouse Institute). Currently serving in the Transformation Service, he holds the position of AI Coordinator and Data Strategy Officer for the benefit of the French National Gendarmerie

He holds a Master's in Electrical Engineering, a PhD in AI, and has studied Cybersecurity at Harvard and Digital Transformation at MIT.
