As part of our monthly iDeaS by COGES EVENTS, we are pleased to present the next e-conference of our 2023 program on:

Capability cooperation: a tri-national perspective Zeitenwende|Economie de Guerre|U.S. production surge

During this panel discussion, we will explore how three political and defense powers have undergone major doctrinal transformations in the past year and the consequences observed for the defense and security community.

President Emmanuel Macron announced at EUROSATORY 2022 that France has "entered a war economy", Chancellor Olaf Scholtz introduced afterwards the term Zeitenwende, literally "turning point" to describe changes in European security. President Biden introduced the Defense Production Act to surge the domestic production of certain technologies.

These announcements have shown a political will to reshape the way the defense industrial bases produce and organize its production and we will explore the actual consequences for the industry, their supply chains and more broadly their production system.

At the end of the debate, you will have the opportunity to ask questions to our high-level panelists.
