'GCF B.35 Unpacked' with GCF insight #22 with the E Co. team

About this event

Join the discussion

Join us on Tuesday 28 March, at 12:00 UK time, for our independent analysis on the latest updates of the world's largest climate fund - the Green Climate Fund (GCF). In this latest dynamic breakdown of events, Dr Grant Ballard-Tremeer and Jamal Gore will be discussing and unpacking the recent 35th Meeting of the GCF Board (B.35), held on the 13 March 2023 in South Korea. Jamal will have attended in person and sharing all of his insights. We're delighted to be speaking to some special guests too on specific topics which we'll reveal more about in the coming weeks. We'll explore the approved projects, accreditations, policy updates, replenishment, the Work plan and pipeline, updates to the Strategic Plan and any other relevant insights. We're interested to share anything we learn about the Loss and Damage fund too.

We'll be delving deeper into the importance of gender in GCF project design, as Senior analyst, Marcus Arcanjo, Comms specialist, Jack Cribb and two of E Co's gender specialists, Debasmita Boral Rolland and Roberta Piacci (who recently conducted a specific training on gender considerations in project design which you can watch here- hthttps://www.ecoltdgroup.com/event/the-gender-in-climate-finance-projects-replay-kit/) will be discussing findings from our recently published 22nd GCF insight report, 'The importance of Gender in GCF project development.' They'll be focusing on the findings from 78 project developer respondents to our survey.
