Human milk is a complex, dynamic biological system that helps shape infant microbiome and immune development. In this webinar, Dr. Meghan Azad will review evidence on how human milk influences early development and health, with a focus on questions that arise in clinical practice: Does the amount of human milk matter? Does exclusivity or duration matter? And does it matter how milk is delivered? Drawing on research from the CHILD Cohort Study and the broader human milk literature, the webinar will explore dose-response relationships and differences associated with direct breastfeeding, pumping, storage and supplementation.
