Melissa Kurtz holds an M.S. degree in Material Science and Engineering from Wayne State University. She has over 25 years of experience serving the global product development community across several industries. She is an expert in material selection, test method development, and failure analysis.
Jack DeSousa is a graduate of Winona State University with a degree in composite materials engineering. Jack is a Project Engineer with The Madison Group, and specializes in failure analysis, material testing and characterization, and design. He has performed over 600 product evaluations and over 75 chemical/material analyses for industrial clients as well as supported many more. Jack’s attention to detail and follow through are essential to the operation and maintenance of the laboratory and its equipment at TMG.
Richie holds a B.S. degree in Composite Materials Engineering from Winona State University. He has led hundreds of investigations across a variety of industries. His work focuses on helping clients during the initial design stages, with manufacturing issues, and in root causes identification.
