CiCi Bellis has an accomplished and diverse background in business, sports, and entrepreneurship. Recently, she completed her MBA degree at the University of Miami with a focus on Management and Finance. Before her MBA, CiCi earned a BA degree with an emphasis on Finance and Entrepreneurship from Indiana University. Alongside her academic achievements, she had a successful background as a professional athlete, competing at the highest level in pro tennis, reaching #35 in the world on the WTA tour at 17 years old, before having to retire from an elbow injury. Playing pro tennis instilled in her a strong work ethic, steely determination, and a deep understanding of the sports industry.

Following her tennis career, CiCi started in the VC industry at a firm focusing on early stage sports startups. After several years working there, Cici made the bold decision to embark on her entrepreneurial journey, founding Cartan Capital in July 2023—a venture capital firm centered around seed and series a stage companies focusing on advances in human performance, sports tech and health tech. Since then Cartan Capital has been actively investing in top performing startups in those focus areas. The company has leveraged its relationship network and made a number of successful investments so far. CiCi also sits on the board of the USTA and works as a Sports Broadcaster for the Tennis Channel and CBS Sports, leveraging her sports expertise to provide insightful commentary and analysis.

Jim Huether is Chief Executive Officer at Hyperice. Jim joined the company in January 2014 after serving as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Xenith, LLC, a sports health and technology company at the forefront of head protection.

Prior to Xenith, LLC, he was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy for the Sports Concussion Institute following senior marketing and finance roles at Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) and Smith Barney of Citigroup.

Under his leadership, Hyperice has grown tremendously, with revenues tripling from 2018 to 2020, and products now sold in over 60 countries worldwide. Hyperice earned a spot on

Fast Company’s 2021 Most Innovative Companies and placed on the Inc. 5000 five years in a row, all the while defining the international standard for recovery and movement enhancement Technology. In 2024, Hyperice introduced its groundbreaking Hyperboot product in collaboration with Nike.

Ross McGraw is the Global Head of CORE and Vice President of Business at Greenteg AG. A former professional triathlete, Ross joined CORE in 2023 to drive growth for the maker of the world’s first continuous, non-invasive core body temperature sensor. Since then, he has helped transform CORE from a best-kept secret of elite endurance athletes into a performance tool adopted worldwide, resulting in 4x revenue growth across the business. 

Beyond his role at CORE, Ross advises emerging sports technology companies, including The Magic 5, a Shark Tank–featured brand producing custom-fit swimming goggles, and Offset Ventures, a venture firm developing technologies that harness the power of the neuromuscular connection. 

Prior to Greenteg, Ross helped scale Hammerhead, a leading cycling technology brand, where his growth strategy drove a 7x increase in annual revenue and positioned the company for a successful acquisition by SRAM. 

Based in New York, Ross remains passionate about endurance sports and can often be found running or cycling.
