About this event
In recent years there has been a fundamental shift in thinking around climate change and how nations, businesses, and individuals can reduce their carbon emissions to meet ambitious net zero targets. Nations such as the UK have pledged to become net zero by 2050, while others such as Finland are being even more ambitious with a target of 2035.
To achieve these goals, we must use all available resources at our disposal including forecasting and simulation modeling based on geospatial data. From the rollout of electric fleet vehicles and the energy network planning that this entails, to the adoption of active travel measures in towns and cities, data-led modelling will be key to unlocking their success.
We would like to invite you to join us virtually on Wednesday 1st December at 14:30 (GMT) for a discussion between Jim Newton, Business Development Manager at CKDelta, and Alejandra Aranzadi, Data Partnerships Manager at CARTO, on how data-led models can help to address inefficiency and make ‘green’ ambitions a reality.
The webinar, ‘How geospatial behavioral modeling can support businesses to deliver a sustainable future’ will be your opportunity to hear more about the role data is playing in reshaping the logistics, energy, site planning, and geomarketing sectors in a ‘green’ manner. There will also be a Q&A session at the end for those who wish to put their questions to CKDelta and CARTO.
To register for your free place, please register at the top of the page. Should you be unable to join, please register via the link and a recording of the session will be emailed to you once the event is finished.
If you would like to explore CKDelta’s data, then please head to CARTO’S Data Observatory. To view individual datasets, visit the Spatial Data Catalog.
