About this event

Architecture Film Fest 2023: Cinematic Adventures Through the Built Environment

Architectural videography is a unique art form that requires a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of space. The best films and animations are able to capture the essence of a building or structure and convey its design and purpose in a captivating and engaging way. At its best, video is arguably the most powerful medium through which to communicate architectural ideas.

For Architizer's first ever Architecture Film Fest, we're inviting a panel of the world's top architectural videographers to share their work and reveal insights into their creative process. Each presenter is a winner in the recent Vision Awards, confirming their status as a visionary in the field of architectural filmmaking.

By attending the Film Fest, you'll learn:

  • The story behind some of the year's most captivating architectural videos.
  • How creators are harnessing new tools to reimagine architectural representation.
  • Compelling cinematic techniques and tips for improving your architectural films.

Meet the Panelists

Adam Goss, Ryan Clark and RedMike Marianek, Cofounders, Spirit of Space

18 years ago, Spirit of Space began as an idea shared by three architects studying in Milan: Ryan Clark, Adam Goss and RedMike Marianek. Many films later, they are still filming, composing and sharing stories from architectural spaces around the globe to delight audiences everywhere. Spirit of Space believes in storyboards over scripts — they don’t conduct interviews; they guide conversations. They observe action rather than directing it. Why? To allow for those serendipitous moments that make audiences want to keep watching.
