Front Line Genomics invites you to their event

Fuelling the Century of Biology with Single Cell and Spatial Technologies

About this event

Fuelling the Century of Biology with Single Cell and Spatial Technologies

Tuesday March 23rd, 2021 - 2pm GMT / 3pm CET / 10 am EDT

Duration: 30 minutes

Summary

With developments in our ability to separate single cells from each other and the falling costs of sequencing, single cell analysis can transform our understanding of diseases at the cellular level.

As technology is constantly evolving, it is difficult for anyone to stay on top of what the latest technology does and whether it is right for them or their research question. So how, and where, should we invest for the next era of single cell studies?

This panel features insights from Omer Bayraktar (Group Leader, Wellcome Sanger Institute), Holger Heyn (Team Leader, Single Cell Genomics Group, Centre for Genomic Regulation), Stefania Giacomello (Group Leader, SciLifeLab) and Florian Baumgartner (Senior Product Manager, Visium Spatial Informatics, 10X Genomics).

What you will take away from the webinar:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the relationships between cellular function, phenotype and location in intact tissue sections
  • Gain a deeper insight into cancer, immunology, neuroscience, developmental biology, and beyond
  • Discover more by seeing biology at true resolution
  • Discover novel insights into normal development, disease pathology, and clinical translational research

This webinar has been made possible with the kind support of our partner, 10X Genomics.
