Talk synopsis: Thermal performance update, the H1AS1 Consultation process and what was proposed.

Introduction of the Warmcore system, high performance thermally broken aluminium look joinery, with proven use in passivhaus builds.

• - Weather tightness with regard to thermal performance, covering basic weather tightness concepts and window and door specific details such as pressure equalization.
• - Proper window installation, why it is important to a thermally resilient building and a step by step guide to a well installed window.

• How does the Omega 800 series achieve high thermal resilience figures?

Speaker BIO: Alex has a background in architectural design and draughting, and more recently worked with building product manufacturers for around 8 years in technical/ business development type roles.

Alex is keenly interested in design detailing with a focus on buildability, the more complex and interesting a detail, the better.

In his spare time you can find him spending time with his family and more often than not, repurposing broken down machinery, from cars and old tools, to farm equipment
