Copper Consultancy invites you to their event

Ensuring the quality of complex, text-heavy documents

About this event

To achieve net zero targets, we need new infrastructure consented as quickly as possible.

This presents us with a challenge: how to produce documents that win support from governments, regulators, planning authorities and interested parties, against the clock?

Some planning applications exceed a million words and are bound by tight, immovable deadlines. The sheer volume of work can be overwhelming for project teams. And errors and inconsistencies risk costly project delays.

Content typically comes from multiple technical authors and often needs to be given a consistent tone of voice and simplified, while ensuring its technical accuracy.

In this webinar, Callum Draper shares his experience of preparing consents documents for Codling Wind Park, Ireland. Copper’s editorial team – a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) – will be available to answer questions.

The event will cover how we can

•             alleviate bottlenecks and reduce the burden on internal teams

•             apply a uniform and engaging written style and tone of voice

•             help to eliminate errors.
