RetailX invites you to their event

“High growth and new markets” - lessons in cross-border expansion, with a preview of South Korea and LatAm regions

About this event

Our webinar takes an updated view on cross-border growth: the where, how and who of success.

Building on our 2021 White Paper (https://internetretailing.net/whitepapers/cross-border-commerce---how-to-navigate-the-corridors-of-cross-border-commerce) we are preparing the 2022 update, with new markets and growth opportunities. In this discussion we will:

  • Review the WP and draw out the most pertinent, current considerations as we approach peak planning for 2022
  • Consider how Asos, Dune and Ali Express have fared since the 2021 case studies
  • Preview two exciting new regions - South Korea and the LatAm zone - and consider the market attractiveness, growth opportunities and entry options
  • Discuss the attributes of companies who are going through hypergrowth and what we can learn from the cross-regional growth stories.

In addition to the Cross-Border White Paper we will reference the June 2022 report on the Global Elite 1000 - a new report that analyses and ranks the best-performing retailers and brands, those who excel on a global/multi-region scale, not solely in one region.

This is a webinar for those who are charged with growth in 2022 and 2023 and are looking for paths into new regions. The focus is upon the commercial and strategic exemplars and ideas, but the session will be as relevant to professionals in operations and strategy as to those in ecommerce and marketing.

All registrants will get a copy of the white paper, the Global Elite 1000 report and the slides from the webinar, with the information and case studies covered

If you have questions in advance please drop us a note at webinars@internetretailing.net. If we receive your questions by 08 July we will have a chance to incorporate appropriate research into our discussion.

Also, if you have recent experience of entering the South Korean or LatAm markets, please drop our editor in chief a line via research@retailx.net since he’d love to speak with you before broadcast (on or off the record).
