Presentation: Beyond the Earth's Core: Optical Core Networks in Space... Kevin has over 20 years experience in the space industry, having contributed to some of Canada's largest space missions. In 2012, he joined the Optical Communications Group at the German Aerospace Center near Munich. In 2015, he moved to industry to continue his work in optical communications in Business Development and Systems Engineering at Mynaric Lasercom GmbH. Kevin is currently a Research Project Leader in Airbus’s Central Research and Technology function and leads advancements in free-space optical communications research.

Diego is very much a satcoms veteran with a career spanning three decades - having spent time with Verestar, SES New Skies, SES World Skies, NewSat, Speedcast, OneWeb, SpaceX and SES Networks on the O3b mPower initiative as well as volunteer roles with the Space and Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) and the Washington Space Business Roundtable. This recording was made on behalf of SES but he has since moved on to Volta Space, which aims to build the lunar energy grid, enabled by optical power beamed from satellites in lunar orbit.
Ahmet's focus with Eutelsat OneWeb is in enhancing satellite connectivity solutions for various sectors in MENA and Central Asia, working with both governments and corporate entities, significantly improving their global communications capabilities in an evolving digital landscape. In a similar capacity, he has previously held positions within Yahsat and SES Satellites

Prior to this she led Earth observation programme and authored market research reports on earth observation, cloud computing, optical satcom and lunar markets. Prachi has undertaken various consulting assignments, conducting market opportunity analysis at regional and country level, competitive analysis and benchmarking, vendor due diligence and go-to-market strategy analysis.

Manish is a seasoned Engineering & Technology Leader, with expertise in cloud strategies, automation, machine learning, and enterprise architecture. He is currently driving the strategy and execution of AI/ML-powered AIOps solutions for telecom and enterprise operations, aligning product, R&D, and engineering teams to deliver intelligent automation, predictive insights, and operational transformation. He has a strong background in both the Telco and Satco environments having spent fifteen years with Bharti Airtel and Vodafone and more recently around seven years with Eutelsat OneWeb and Avanti.
