About this event
Renewable Energies have experienced a relevant increase within the last two decades and Latin America countries are placing great expectation in non-conventional energy sources at short, medium and long term. In fact, EU SMEs interested in these industries have in Brazil one of their main destination countries, as the Latin American country represents a huge market full of potential clients for EU companies that are willing to go international.
In order them not to leap without the support provided by the European Union, the webinar will let them have a look on Low Carbon Action Brazil and the Latin America IPR SME Helpdesk, the two main EU-funded initiatives that can help them go to Brazil in the safest way. Particularly, it will be explained why the EU's 8th trading partner provides reasonable standards of protection for IPRs, and what are the many worth knowing particularities to be noted by entrepreneurs if they want to succeed and use IP as a profitable business tool.
The webinar aims to give an overview about the current situation as regards Intellectual Property Rights and Innovation as well as to provide practical information about the registration and enforcement of the main IPRs in Brazil focused on the energy and environment sector. SMEs will also be provided expert tips and watch-outs to bear in mind when entering the Latin-American country.
