With over 20 years of education and AT experience, I happily join the ReadSpeaker Team! Looking to share my experiences and passion for helping all gain access and understanding to the written word. Mom of 2 grown daughters, foodie and tennis enthusiast.
Marisha Marks has extensive experience as a faculty trainer and instructional designer having worked both in higher education and for multiple non-profits. Marks has worked comprehensively with faculty on best practices in online and blended formats. Her experience at UMass Amherst as an instructional designer working under pressure with multiple faculty and with an increasing number of courses makes her highly suited to assist STCC in elevating its presence in the online arena. She holds a graduate certificate from UMass Boston in instructional technology and design, a master’s in education from McGill University as well as a bachelor’s in biology and environmental science from McGill University.
Ginger Dewey taught for 38 years in K12 and higher ed, mostly in higher ed. After retiring from higher ed, she transitioned to for ReadSpeaker, doing what she loves - faculty training. She is married with two adult children: daughter - Civil Engineer, & son - Marine Corps.Sergeant.
