About this event

In this session you will discover the essentials of architectural reverberation, the Australian standards that apply to your designs, and the acoustic (and other) advantages and disadvantages of architectural linings options. This course will also give you the knowledge to confidently liaise with acoustic consultants and ensure end clients are fully satisfied with the acoustic performance of their designed space.

  • Understand the meaning of Room Acoustics and Reverberation Control and its terminology.
  • Understand the process for selecting acoustic linings to ensure the acoustic performance of a space.
  • Understand the importance of Room Acoustics.
  • Understand how the performance of materials for reverberation control is measured.
  • Identify options for reverberation control and identify their advantages and disadvantages.
