About this event

Are you puzzled and confused by the various forms of contracts and agreements necessary to implement a district energy scheme? The UKDEA and two of its members, in collaboration with BEIS, have created this event to help demystify this key part of our sector.

This event, which is open to all members of the district energy sector, provides an overview of the various forms of contracts and legal agreements that can be used in district energy schemes, ranging from customer heat supply agreements, concession agreements, heat purchase agreements to D&B, O&M and DBOM. This will include the key terms, issues, pitfalls etc…

    Simon Woodward Chairman @ The UK District Energy Association

    Simon is an independent consultant with 30-years experience developing district energy schemes. He is currently involved with developing 10 schemes across the UK and works part-time as the UKDEA Chairman. Until 2014 he was the CEO of the UK’s largest district energy company Cofely District Energy.
