At ScootHero we believe in providing South Africans and non-South Africans with a mechanism to purchase an asset, apply their skills and be available on platforms thereby creating jobs and entrepreneurship and micro SMME’s on the path to wealth creation.

These established Owner Operators on UberEATS, Bolt or MrDelivery and others are able to lease a motorbike at an affordable rate and have value-added benefits included, which most motorbike rentals do not offer at the moment. We believe a reliable driver is the golden nugget in the industry.

In addition to this, the ScootHero fleet is an electrical vehicle based with battery swap stations being established across South Africa - currently rolling out 120 battery swap stations across South Africa.

Our 5 year JV collaboration initiated in 2022 with EvRiderz allows us to be the sole provider and first to market these EV scooters to South Africa for delivery bike drivers.

As a truly South African company, the business is built on the foundation of assisting these Drivers. We believe in showing support to these drivers and that there is someone in their corner cheering them on and making a difference in their lives.

Fundamentally, ScootHero in collaboration with EvRiderz have developed a few models that have specific objectives and functions. These models are the Owner Operator (Driver leasing model), Bike Owners (Private Renters), Fleet Owners model as well as driver delivery platforms for both ride hailing and food and groceries delivery.
