David Carlock is the founder and principal of Machete Group and has over 20 years of experience as an executive and adviser for prominent companies in sports, entertainment, and real estate development.
Before founding Machete Group, Carlock served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for the Houston Rockets where his responsibilities included supervising the design and construction of Toyota Center and overseeing building operations. Prior to joining the Rockets, Carlock was a member of Hard Rock Café International’s senior management team and The Walt Disney Company’s Corporate Strategic Planning Department.
Carlock sits on the board of Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a New York-based nonprofit organization committed to helping high potential African-American, Hispanic, and Native-American students and young professionals successfully pursue careers in business. He is a graduate of Harvard College and native of Boston, MA.
Blair Listino is the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for Comcast Spectacor, President of Flyers Charities, and Alternate Governor of the Philadelphia Flyers. Listino leads financial optimization and growth strategies, as well as oversight of all financial matters for the organization. In addition, she oversees key business functions including human resources, community relations, administration, technology and overall business optimization.
Prior to her current role, Listino served as CFO for Philadelphia Flyers and Wells Fargo Center from 2019-2023 and Vice President of Accounting and Finance for Comcast Spectacor from 2014-2019. She joined Comcast Corporation in 2011 and was the Engagement Manager for Comcast Global Audit for two years before being named Director of Business and Finance Operations for Comcast Business in 2013.
Listino has been in the field of Finance and Accounting for nearly two decades. Prior to Comcast, Listino was the Vice President of Finance for Olive Media, a start-up company in San Francisco, Calif. She has also worked in the audit departments at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Varian Inc.
Listino received her bachelor’s degree of business administration at the University of Colorado in Boulder and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Additionally, she completed the Women in Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. Blair was named CFO of the Year by the Philadelphia Business Journal in 2021 and a Sports Business Journal Game Changer in 2020. She is a Colorado native and currently resides with her husband and three daughters in Media, Pa.
Matt Mahoney is the Senior Vice President of Development at Kroenke Sports & Entertainment. His responsibilities at KSE include the oversight and management of large-scale capital projects and real estate development.
Matt has more than 20 years of experience in Denver’s real estate industry. Prior leadership roles at Revesco Properties and East West Partners led to his involvement in projects such as The River Mile, Riverfront Park, and Denver’s Union Station Neighborhood development. Matt is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, is an avid skier and lover of the outdoors, and lives in Greenwood Village with his wife and three children
Brian P. McGowan is the President of Centennial Yards - a CIM Group Company - building the most exciting sports, entertainment and business district in the country - in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia.
McGowan has over 20 years of economic development experience working at all levels of government. He was appointed by President Obama as U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce and also served as Economic Solutions Team lead in the National Incident Command set up by the President to respond to the BP Oil Spill. Prior to that, he was appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger to serve as Deputy Secretary of Commerce for the State of California.
In Atlanta, he served as CEO of Invest Atlanta and CEO of the Atlanta Beltline. McGowan was also the Executive Vice President/COO of the Metro Atlanta Chamber and Principal with the global law firm Dentons. Additionally, Governor Deal appointed McGowan to the Board of the Fort McPherson Redevelopment Authority where he served for 5 years.
Most recently he was the founding CEO of Greater Seattle Partners which promoted and grew one of the most economically influential regions in the world. McGowan is a board member for the Atlanta Visitors and Convention Bureau, Central Atlanta Progress and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Foundation. He is also the immediate past Chair of the Board for the Center for Civic Innovation in Atlanta and is a Non-resident Fellow at the Brookings Institute.
