Chantal Alleyne Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula @ Founder, Doula International Women's Association ( DIWA)

I am so grateful that I can bring many of my life skills into my Doula work. I love the fact that I can incorporate my experiences as a personal chef, trained dancer, cultural event coordinator, mother of two and wife and military spouse of 38 years. Throughout the years I have had the fortune to live abroad, which has given me the opportunity to speak to my clients in different languages. The ability to communicate with my clients in other languages has enhanced the birthing experience culturally. It is important to incorporate and understand the cultural, ethical, and spiritual needs of the birthing mother in order to make the birthing process whole.
