About this event
Envisioning exceptional architecture is a team effort. It takes a wide array of professionals to help conceive a project, convince a client of its value, and communicate its essence once it is complete. Architizer's inaugural Vision Awards is dedicated to the talented people that enable the world to envision amazing architecture through photography, drawings, renderings, video and more, with winners' work celebrated online and in print.
As we approach the Main Entry Deadline for the program, we welcome renowned visualization experts and Vision Awards Jurors Mengyi Fan, Director of Visualization at ShoP Architects, and Keely Colcleugh, Founder of Kilograph, to talk through the key ingredients that make for outstanding architectural renderings. Mengyi and Keely will explain how, when done right, a single rendering can tell a compelling story about architecture, capturing the essence of those unique places, spaces and structures that characterize our built environment.
By attending this talk, you'll learn:
Keely is the founder of Kilograph and Kilograph SL. She is a designer with more than 20 years experience in the fields of architectural design, visual effects, brand design and exhibition design. Keely is member of the executive committee at the A+D museum, past president of the ASAI and serves on the juries of Architizer and the Architecture Master Prize awards annually
Mengyi is the Director of Visualization at SHoP Architects. She has worked in multiple roles of expertise in the architectural field with a focus on the New York metropolitan area, ranging from lighting design for major infrastructural projects to creating exhibitions that utilize social media as a design tool.
